Nice to meet you here, my name is Rob. In 1977, I received my first camera as a gift. Since then, photography has been an important part of my life.

My journey into the digital world began in 2000, and from 2006 to 2022, creative projects with musicians were a major focus. Since 2019, I have also been photographing portraits and private events such as weddings and family celebrations.

My work¹ aims to reduce a scene to its most expressive moment. To achieve this, I often use an open aperture for a shallow depth of field and present my images in black and white² so that form, light and emotion can speak for themselves.

When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls. (Ted Grant - *1929 †2020)
