Website update
Today, my revised website goes live. At first glance, you won't see any major differences, but behind the scenes, I have launched the English and German language versions and created a few empty projects in the navigation bar. These will function like separate websites with their own menus. This is the basis for my planned e-books, which will build on this foundation.
I have also compiled a small selection of photos for my portfolio. I have used content that is already available on my other sites such as flickr or STRKNG. The images are simply linked, and clicking on the title below takes the visitor to the original album of the photo.
The basic concept of the whole website is very simple: I'm using the simple content management system Typemill as a basis for structuring and delivering content. Almost all photos you see on this website are located in my flickr-space or some smaller photo networks. That keeps it very flexible and straightforward for me and I don't have any trouble with systems like Wordpress any more.
I have also updated and republished the Toolbox section from a previous website. And I have rediscovered my red 'R' logo which I have designed around 10 years ago and used on my website back then.
Over the next few months, small photo packages from my archive will be published step by step. When there is more to report, I will write the next journal entry here.
